A cold front will push into the region today and tonight. This front will usher in the coldest air of the autumn season, thus far.

We will have scattered rain showers today. The coverage of the rain will rapidly increase this afternoon and evening.

Additional rain will fall Sunday into Monday morning.

When all is said and done, you can expect a widespread one to two inches of rain in the region. There will be pockets of two to three inches.

Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about severe thunderstorms.

Have a great weekend!
