PADUCAH, KY (NewsFirst) – A possible drive by shooting has happened on Alben Barkley Drive (U.S. Highway 62) in Paducah on Monday.
The incident apparently took place at a Five Star convenience store on Alben Barkley Drive near West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
News First has learned at least one vehicle was possibly shot multiple times by a photo provided by the victim, clearly showing what appears to be bullet holes in the vehicle. News First has also learned the identity of the victim involved, but we are withholding that information until further information is obtained from Paducah Police.
Paducah Police issued a public statement indicating the vehicle damage may have been created by an “explosion”, but police did not elaborate. When News First spoke with the individual who gave us permission to use the photo of the damage, that person confirmed to News First the vehicle damage was caused by “gunshots”.
