Rain chances will increase Thursday into Friday evening. At this time, it appears that a widespread 0.50″ to 1.00″ of rain will fall across the region. A rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out, but severe thunderstorms are not anticipated.

The bulk of the rain will likely fall Thursday night into Friday morning. With that said, scattered showers are possible at any given point Thursday during the day with increasing chances during the afternoon and evening.

Showers will likely linger into Friday afternoon and night.

I have low end rain chances Saturday into Monday. It is possible that I remove those chances if the system departs a bit quicker and a southern system tracks a bit farther south and east.

No snow or ice in the current forecast.
