JACKSON, Mo. (NewsFirst) – The 2023 Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization Christmas Parade is this Sunday, December 3rd at 5:00 pm.


Parking on the following streets will be restricted beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday:

Both sides of High St. from Madison St. to W. Main St.

Both sides of Main St. from Farmington Rd. to Barton St.

Both sides of Farmington Rd. from Adams St. to W. Main St.

Both sides of Adams St. from Farmington Rd. to Daisy St.

Vehicles parked after 2:00 p.m. will be towed from the street at the owner’s expense. This precaution is taken for the safety of spectators and those participating in the Christmas Parade.

The area around Farmington Rd. and W. Main St. will be closed at 3:00 p.m. for parade line up. The rest of the parade route will be closed at approximately 4:10 pm for the “Merry Mile ” Christmas run, that will run the parade route. The parade route will remain closed with the Christmas Parade starting at 5:00 pm. The parade starts at Farmington Rd and travels east on Main St, turns south on High St. and ends at Madison St.

Parking will be restored to normal immediately following the parade. Please watch out for pedestrian and vehicular traffic after the parade. We thank you for your cooperation and we wish everyone a safe holiday season!
