PADUCAH, KY The City of Paducah held a rootin’ tootin’ good time as the theme for the 2023 Christmas Parade Saturday night that brought out thousands of local residents to the streets of the historic downtown. The annual Christmas Parade transformed historic downtown Paducah into a frontier of holiday cheer and cowboy charm. The theme, inspired by the rugged and adventurous spirit of the Wild West, brought a unique and festive twist to this beloved community tradition.
Local organizers encouraged participants and spectators alike to embrace their inner cowboys and cowgirls, imagining a Christmas celebration with a dash of frontier flair. Floats adorned with cowboy boots, festive saloons, and perhaps even a few holiday wranglers on horseback lined the parade route. As described in its billing it was a Yeehaw Good Time!
