HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office successfully located and arrested the “Fugitive of the Week” from November last Thursday, resulting in the unveiling of additional charges against the suspect.
According to an arrest citation from Detective Mark Nichols of the CCSO, 25-year-old Gregory Trey Pryor was apprehended on Glass Avenue last Thursday (11/30). The arrest took place after Deputies stopped Pryor, who was identified as the designated “Fugitive of the Week.”
Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputies observed illegal items in plain view, specifically a small baggie of marijuana. Following Pryor’s apprehension, a pat-down revealed another baggie of marijuana on his person. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a pipe in the center console containing a white, powdery residue consistent with methamphetamine use.
Further inspection revealed a backpack within the vehicle containing a digital scale and baggies typically associated with the sale and distribution of narcotics. As the search progressed, a handgun reported stolen from Henry County, TN, was discovered in the driver’s side floorboard.
Gregory Trey Pryor, a convicted felon with restrictions on firearm possession, now faces an array of charges stemming from the arrest:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
In addition to these charges, Pryor was served with several warrants from Christian County, spanning charges such as probation violation and receiving stolen property.
Following his arrest, Gregory Trey Pryor was transported to the Christian County Jail, where he awaits legal proceedings related to the new charges and outstanding warrants.
