HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a Hopkinsville woman, identified as 62-year-old Nancy Bagby, on Friday (12/01) after she was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a pursuit initiated by the Hopkinsville Police Department.

The arrest took place shortly after 1:00 pm, when Deputies made contact with Bagby following the police pursuit. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of a handbag belonging to Bagby, containing a baggie of methamphetamine, a pipe, and small baggies indicative of drug sale and distribution.

As a result of the findings, Nancy Bagby was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (meth)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Following her arrest, Bagby was transported to the Christian County Jail, where she awaits further legal proceedings. The incident highlights the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the safety of the community and addressing illicit activities.
