MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — Ronald Allen, 31, of Murray was arrested after a single-vehicle collision on the south side of Murray on December 2, 2023, at 4:53 AM, according to the Murray Police Department.
Upon responding to the incident, officers found Allen at the scene and, following an investigation, determined that he was under the influence of alcohol and other substances. Additionally, illegal narcotics and a loaded firearm were discovered in his possession. Subsequently, Mr. Allen faced charges including Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Substances 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) Firearm Enhanced, and Trafficking in Controlled Substances 3rd Degree Firearm Enhanced.
Mr. Allen was promptly arrested and taken into custody, where he was booked into the Calloway County Jail.
