Bridge reconstruction project completed
PADUCAH, Ky. (December 8, 2023) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to reopen a section of KY 1125 in Fulton County at 8 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023.
KY 1125 has been closed at the 1.3 mile point since October 9, to allow reconstruction of the Bayou De Chien Bridge.
The addition of guardrail and some other finish work is expected to be completed today, allowing the bridge to reopen at 8 a.m., CST, Saturday. The new bridge is opening about a week ahead of schedule.
