MAYFIELD, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — Groundbreaking Event/New Graves County Administrative Building (Courthouse) groundbreaking and photo rendering event scheduled.
The Graves County Judge Executive’s Office is pleased to announce that a groundbreaking event has been scheduled for December 11th, 2023, at 2:30 PM (CST) located at the site of the previous Graves County Courthouse, 101 East South Street, Mayfield, KY 42066.
Graves County resident Susan Scott Higdon will emcee the event. During the event, those that lost their lives during the December 10th, 2021, tornado will be honored. Details of the new Graves County Administrative Building will be discussed as well as a rendering will be unveiled, with a ceremonial groundbreaking to follow.
Everyone is invited to attend this event that will be held rain or shine. Light refreshments will also be available.
We are excited as we begin a new chapter for Graves County and would appreciate everyone in joining us on this historical day.
