Closure for completion of sewer line installation
PADUCAH, Ky. (December 15, 2023) – A contractor for the Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency plans to close a section of KY 1565/Mayfield-Metropolis Road in western McCracken County on Monday, December 18, 2023.
KY 1565/Mayfield-Metropolis Road will be closed at the 4.58 mile point to allow a concrete surface to be placed over a new sewer line that was recently installed. This closure is along KY 1565 immediately north of the U.S. 60 intersection.
KY 1565/Mayfield-Metropolis Road will close promptly at 7 a.m., CST. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic by about 3 p.m., Monday.
There will be no marked detour. Motorists may self-detour via KY 305/Cairo Rd and U.S. 60.
