ARLINGTON, KY – December 16, 2023 – The Carlisle County E911 Center received a report from a concerned citizen who accidentally left his wallet on the counter at the Indian Hills gas station in Arlington, KY. Subsequent investigations revealed that Tonya Felty (39) of Columbus, KY, had taken the wallet, containing approximately $1500-$2000 in cash, credit cards, and identification.
Further investigation revealed that Felty had traveled to Paducah, KY, where she made purchases at Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret, spending $283.66. Additionally, she transferred $500.00 to a Cash App account.
Tonya Felty was placed under arrest and charged with felony theft. She is currently lodged at the Ballard County Jail.
