GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. — An investigation into a convicted felon in possession of multiple firearms resulted in an arrest in Graves County on Saturday.
Deputies executed a search at a residence of Larry Sparks in the Melber community on Wednesday and Thursday, prompted by a tip received by the sheriff’s office. During the search, deputies discovered 13 guns and methamphetamine.
On Saturday at 2 a.m., deputies were informed that Sparks had returned to the residence. Upon their return, deputies found Sparks in possession of additional methamphetamine and other illicit substances.
Sparks faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and other drug-related offenses.
