MURRAY, KY – On December 31, 2023, at approximately 8:30 pm, deputies discovered Rebecca V. Widmer, 42, of Almo, KY, passed out in her vehicle near S. 12th Street in Murray. She was subsequently arrested on charges related to drug possession and intoxication.
Deputies found Widmer intoxicated and in possession of illicit drugs during the incident. She was taken into custody and later lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center. The charges against her include:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Controlled Substances – 1st Offense
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine, Class D felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
Widmer is currently held at the Calloway County Detention Center pending further legal proceedings.
