HOPKINSVILLE, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — Police responded to a report of a possible Robbery on Lucky Debonair Drive.
Jayontez Poindexter forced his way into a residence causing injury to the homeowner along with his child’s mother, grabbing her throat and neck.
One of the victims advised Poindexter stole her cell phone when he left.
Poindexter was interviewed by detectives and was arrested for Burglary 1st Degree, Strangulation 2nd Degree, Assault, 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) Minor Injury and Assault, 4th Degree (Minor Injury).
