The flood watch has been cancelled. The frost level has dissipated. Water is now soaking into the ground. Thus, the flood threat has ended across most of the area.
The Memphis, Tennessee NWS continues the watch for the Bootheel into northwest Tennessee. Overall, I believe the threat is minimal.
As always, avoid flooded roadways.
An additional 0.75″ to 1.50″ of rain is likely between today and Saturday night.
Dense fog is an issue this morning. Use care.
