MARSHALL COUNTY, KY. (AP) — Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance on Low Road in Marshall County on Thursday, January 24, 2024. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that the source of the disturbance, a male individual, had vacated the premises.

The individual causing the disturbance was identified as Dion Finely, 53, hailing from Detroit, Michigan. Deputies determined that Finely had multiple out-of-state warrants for his arrest. Subsequently, efforts were made to locate him.

Finely was ultimately found at a residence on Bee Springs Road in Marshall County. Despite requests to exit the premises, Finely refused, prompting the request for assistance from the Marshall County Special Response Team (SRT).

The SRT promptly responded to the scene and successfully apprehended Finely. He was then transported and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

Local charges filed against Finely include being a fugitive from justice, criminal trespass 1st degree, and criminal mischief 3rd degree.
