PADUCAH, KY – As we are all aware in light of recent events, your housing situation may drastically change in the blink of an eye. We’d like to help our community partners that serve the homeless by bringing attention to the annual Kentucky Housing Corporation’s annual K-Count.
The Kentucky Balance of State Continuum of Care will conduct its annual K-Count (or Point-In-Time Count) on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 9-11 PM. It is CRITICAL for us to report this number as accurately as possible for all of Paducah and McCracken County on this date. This report is used to determine funding and resources coming to McCracken County in order to address homelessness and related needs.
If you’d like to volunteer to assist with the K-Count by going out into the community from 9-11 PM Wednesday night to meet with the homeless and collect information, scan the QR code to sign up to volunteer.
