CALLOWAY COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — On February 3rd, 2024, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the New Concord near Cypress Harbor Dr. and Lax Dr. for traffic violations.

The driver of the vehicle, Charles R. Warren, was confirmed to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest. While attempting to place Warren into custody, Warren attempted to flee from law enforcement, but was quickly apprehended and placed under arrest.

A search was conducted of the vehicle. Deputies located approximately 233.3 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine (just over a half-pound), 55 Suboxone pills, 40.5 grams of Marijuana, Digital Weight Scales, and $5,471 in cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.

Also located in the vehicle were quantities of Cocaine, LSD, Oxycodone, Diazepam, and numerous other Drug Paraphernalia items related to drug trafficking.

Warren has an extensive criminal history with numerous convictions of Trafficking or Manufacturing Methamphetamine dating back to 2006.

He has been a source of supply for large quantities of Crystal Methamphetamine in the West Kentucky and West Tennessee area for a lengthy period of time. Warren was transported to the Calloway County Detention Center where he was lodged.
