WILLIAMSON COUNTY (NewsFirst) — Horse Shot. Sheriff Asks For Public’s Assistance.

On January 31, 2024, at 1406 hours, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Laminack Road (Cambria) to the report of a horse with a gunshot wound to the head.

The owner stated that he located his horse lying down in the fenced-in area where it is kept when he arrived home from work.

The timeframe this incident could have occurred is between the hours of 0800 and 1355. Investigators believe it is more likely to have occurred in the afternoon prior to 1355 hours.

Sheriff Jeff Diederich is asking the public for their assistance in helping to solve this senseless act.
