MURRAY, KY – (NEWS FIRST) – On Feb 5, 2024, at approximately 7:30pm deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 641N and Almo Road. Aaron Beard was found to have a warrant stemming from a drug investigation last month in which a search warrant was executed on his residence. Deputies located approximately 23 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with what appeared to be counterfeit pills. These tablets were marked as Xanax and Oxycodone but appeared to be “pressed” with these markings and could be counterfeit. Further testing will be done by the Kentucky State Police Lab to see if they contain the proper active ingredient as marked, or any other substances. Beard was only charged for the possession of what was marked on the tablets until that testing can be completed. Also located were multiple vials of suspected liquid testosterone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Multiple firearms were seized, some of which were modified with cut and shortened barrels, serial numbers removed. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.
