PADUCAH, KY (NEWS FIRST) – Paducah Police Department Citizen’s Police Academy #27 is officially underway. After being welcomed to the class by City Manager Daron Jordan, Police Chief Brian Laird, and Officer Quinn, the “recruits” learned about the Paducah Police Department Operations Division from Assistant Chief Joseph Hayes. Finally, they were treated to a presentation and demonstration from K9 Officer Parrish along with his partner, K9 Don. The class asked so many good questions and were a real fun bunch. We look forward to seeing them all next week.
