FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – The National Weather Service in St. Louis is indicating portions of SEMO are expected to get up to four inches of snow. The areas include Washington, St Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Iron, Reynolds, Madison, and Perry counties, but forecasters are indicating that could also change.

The St. Louis office went on to say: “Monday’s snow forecast has changed: a narrow band of 4+ inches of snow is now expected to develop within the broader area of snow as this system moves through the area Monday. At this time snow appears most likely along and south of I-70 where less than an inch of snow will accumulate on grassy and elevated surfaces, and the narrow band of heavier snow is currently forecast across southern and southeastern Missouri. Where the heaviest band of snow occurs remains uncertain at this point and shifts in the track of the storm will impact where snow, including the heaviest band, falls.”
