PADUCAH, KY – (NEWS FIRST) – Over the last two days, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested five people following separate investigations for various drug offenses.
On 02/08/2024, Deputies received information that Jerry Purvis, 38, of Paducah, KY was at a residence on Benton Road. Detectives located Purvis at a residence and it was determined that Purvis had three outstanding warrants for his arrest. Purvis was taken into custody on his warrants and was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine after Methamphetamine was located on his person.
On 02/08/2024 Deputies also conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Bridge Street. The vehicle was occupied by Leighann Boyd,32, of Paducah, KY. During the traffic stop, it was determined that Boyd was in possession of Methamphetamine, a digital scale, and baggies. Boyd was arrested following the traffic stop.
Later the same night on 02/08/2024, Detectives arrested Michael C. Brewer, 37, of Princeton, KY for Trafficking in Methamphetamine 2nd or Greater Offense (>or= 2GMS) after receiving information that Brewer was enroute to McCracken County to sell Methamphetamine. Brewer was taken into custody and found to be in possession of approximately 19.1g of Methamphetamine and a digital scale.
On 02/09/2024 Detectives and Deputies executed a search warrant on Lackey Street in Paducah, KY. During the search warrant, Detectives and Deputies located and seized approximately 18.8g of Methamphetamine, Suboxone strips, Marijuana, and other items of paraphernalia. Anthony A. Adkins, 35, of Paducah, KY, and Debra K. Purvis, 53, of Paducah, KY were arrested for drug offenses following the execution of the search warrant.
Jerry Purvis, Leighann Boyd, Michael Brewer, Anthony Adkins, and Debra Purvis were all arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
