WILLIAMSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (NewsFirst) — Arrest Warrant & Search Warrant
Williamson County, Illinois – On February 9, 2024, at 1910 hours, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies observed Gavin M. Mohring, an individual with an outstanding arrest warrant, at the front of the residence located in the 800 block of Barham Avenue, Johnston City.
Upon observing Deputies approaching Mohring fled into the residence and Deputies pursued. Mohring was taken into custody without further incident.
Deputies observed a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and residue which later field tested positive for Methamphetamine inside the residence.
Mohring refused Deputies request for consent to search the residence stating, “get a search warrant”.
Deputies secured the residence, maintained a perimeter, and obtained a search warrant.
A search of the residence resulted in the recovery of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.
Mohring was cited for the following:
Possession of Methamphetamine
(Class 3 Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(Class A Misdemeanor)
Mohring was transported to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
