MARSHALL COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — On 02/10/2024, Jason Mathus age 44 of Calvert City KY, was arrested following a traffic stop on the vehicle that he was operating.

Mathus was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, improper use of blue lights, and no lights on vehicle in tow.

A search warrant was executed at the Mathus residence off Griggstown Road in Marshall County and deputies recovered a firearm and more evidence of drug trafficking.

Mathus was then charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The wife of Mr. Mathus, Nanette Mathus, age 50 was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jason Mathus was also served a summons for probation violation.

On 2/9/2024, Robert Mosbaugh age 56 of Benton KY, was arrested when the vehicle he was operating was stopped on Griggstown Road in Marshall County. Mosbaugh was charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine), failure to maintain insurance, possession of marijuana, and other traffic offenses.
