MURPHYSBORO, ILLINOIS (NewsFirst) — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, westbound Illinois 13 near the Big Muddy River in Jackson County will return to the original traffic configuration on Thursday, Feb. 15th.
Intermittent lane closures will be necessary to perform site investigations as work on Illinois 13
continues. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits
and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
