PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) — The Paducah Police Department extends its appreciation to Christian Holbrook for his commendable assistance in 2023. Mr. Holbrook demonstrated quick thinking and resourcefulness when he recognized two children in medical distress due to heat.
Mr. Holbrook promptly relayed pertinent information to E911 staff and remained in the vicinity until officers arrived. His swift actions were instrumental in preventing serious physical injury to the children.
Although unable to attend the awards ceremony, Mr. Holbrook was honored today with the Civilian Service Award at the Paducah Police Department.
