Western Kentucky (NewsFirst) — On Friday morning, law enforcement in western Kentucky apprehended a fugitive wanted in connection to a murder case in Nashville.
Authorities from Oak Grove Police located 37-year-old Nicole Tishma at a local motel. Upon engagement, Tishma allegedly provided a false identity and was found in possession of a firearm.
Reports from WSMV indicate that Tishma was sought in connection to a shooting and drug-related robbery at a factory on Old Franklin Drive in Nashville, resulting in the death of 34-year-old Steven Yates on Wednesday.
Currently, Tishma is detained at the Christian County Jail, facing charges such as identity theft, illegal possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and an outstanding warrant as a fugitive from another state.
