HICKORY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — Injury Collision
On February 23, 2024 at approximately 7:30 AM, deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to State Route 1241 near Union Circle, in the Hickory area, for a single-vehicle injury collision.
Deputies determined that 29-year-old John Redden of Hickory was traveling South on State Route 1241 in a 2007 PT Cruiser. Mr. Redden advised as he approached the intersection of SR 1241 and Union Circle, a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Khepreisha Brown, pulled out in front of him. Mr. Redden said he was able to avoid a collision with Mrs. Brown by steering to the right and applying his brakes. After leaving the roadway, Mr. Redden stated his vehicle slid into the ditch before overturning onto its roof.
Mr. Brown was transported by Mayfield-Graves County EMS to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
