TEXT SCAM (NewsFirst) — A bank text scam often looks like a legitimate text message from a financial institution. Criminals may send you a text that looks like a bank warning or fraud alert. It might claim that an unauthorized charge has been made on your account or ask you if you attempted to charge a certain amount at a particular retailer.
Here is a local example…keep in mind it could be from ANY bank though, not just FNB.
