MURRAY, Ky. (NEWS FIRST) — Calloway County High School’s math team demonstrated remarkable prowess at the recent MSU Math Day competition, securing a commendable second-place finish. Among the standout performers were Sophomore Amber Wu, who clinched the top spot overall in the upper-level test, showcasing exceptional mathematical acumen.

In the lower-level test, Freshman Sean Williams exhibited impressive skills, securing the second position, closely followed by Aubrey Naber in fourth place.

Noteworthy achievements continued as Juniors Gary Rogers and Jack Williams received scholarships in recognition of their outstanding scores on the upper-level individual test, underscoring Calloway County High School’s commitment to academic excellence and achievement.

The formidable CCHS squad, comprising Jude Bazzell, Bo Stom, Gary Rogers, and Riley Hudson, demonstrated remarkable teamwork, securing second place in the fiercely contested team competition, further solidifying Calloway County High School’s reputation as a formidable force in mathematics.
