JEFFERSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (NewsFirst) — Do you recognize this man?
Around 6:20 p.m. on December 15, 2023, this man is suspected of displaying a firearm to an employee of O’Reilly Auto Parts, located in the 8900 block of W Bowles Ave. The employee had attempted to stop him from stealing an item valued at $200. The gun was tucked into the man’s waistband when he lifted his shirt and showed it to the employee. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8 – 5’10, approximately 140 lbs, possibly in his 50s, with blondish hair and scruffy facial hair.
On February 16, 2024, he returned to the same store and these photos were taken at that time. He did not steal anything on his second visit.
