BENTON, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — **Arrests**
– 1/11/24 – Benjamin E. Hollis, 61, of Hardin, was arrested on a traffic stop for a failure to appear warrant (Calloway County). Subsequently, he was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license, no registration plates, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled substance 1st offense (Meth).
– 01/19/24 – Devin B. Byars, 33, of Benton, was arrested for an active warrant out of Marshall County. The warrant was for the charges of criminal mischief 3rd degree, terroristic threatening 3rd degree, and menacing.
– 1/22/24 – Brandi D. Powell, 43, was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
– 2/1/24 – Ally Collins, 28, of Benton, was arrested for possession of controlled substance 1st offense (Meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
– 2/2/24 – Jeffrey R. Gipson, 44, of Benton, was arrested for burglary 2nd degree (attempt) and theft by unlawful taking contents from vehicle (attempt). This stemmed from a complaint of a suspicious male in the area of Greenhill Drive and Pine Street, who was witnessed attempting to open a car door, then opening a screen door on a house and attempting to open the door handle.
– 2/3/24 – Jayden R. Edwards, 21, of Sikeston, MO, was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
– 2/10/24 – Patrick J. Patterson, 50, of Georgia, was arrested for attempted theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) $500 < $1,000.
– 2/18/24 – Luis E. Yero, 53, of Colorado, was arrested for disorderly conduct, 2nd degree, assault 3rd degree, and resisting arrest.
