Christian County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Woman for Possession of Methamphetamine

On March 7th, Deputy Colon was traveling eastbound on Eagle Way near Dawson Springs Rd when a female was observed using the guard rail for support. Upon approaching the individual, later identified as 45-year-old Angela Burton, she appeared to be in distress and was pushing a cart.

After a computer check revealed two outstanding warrants from Christian County, Burton was taken into custody. A search of her purse revealed a small clear baggie containing a rock crystal-like substance, suspected to be Methamphetamine.

A further search of her person yielded a red container containing multiple clear baggies with trace amounts of a rock crystal-like substance, also suspected to be Methamphetamine.

Burton was charged with:

* Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
