PADDUCAH, KENTUCKY(NewsFrist) — We are excited to announce that the Paducah Police Department is currently accepting applications for a Deflection Specialist. This full-time role has been created to work closely with our police officers and community partners to promote substance misuse recovery and overdose reduction.
This specialist will also assist our officers in addressing community members living with mental health conditions and similar social service needs. This position is ideal for someone with experience as a social worker and a strong desire to help members of our community.
