Roadway to close 8:30 a.m., to 1 p.m., CDT, for cross drain work

PADUCAH, Ky.   The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 373 in Lyon County on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

KY 373 will be closed at mile point 1.9 to allow a cross drain to be replaced.  This is along KY 373 between Dyer Road and Glen Chapel Road.

The roadway at this site will close promptly at 8:30 a.m., CDT, Wednesday.  KY 373 is expected to reopen to traffic around 1 p.m., CDT, on Wednesday.

Please take note that once KY 373 reopens to traffic there may be a work zone with one-lane traffic at this location on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday to allow placement of riprap and other shoulder finish work at the site.

Motorists should be alert for rough pavement signage as the excavation will be allowed to settle before a permanent asphalt cap is added.
