MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) —

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Paducah woman on prostitution charges Friday afternoon at a Paducah hotel.

In the recent past, the Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a website being used to post prostitution ads. On 03/08/24 a Sheriff’s detective, acting in an undercover capacity, contacted a woman who had posted a prostitution ad on the site. The woman sent the detective a photo and a price list for sexual services. The woman then directed the detective to a hotel located at 5006 Hinkleville Road in Paducah.

Detectives located the woman a short time later and placed her under arrest for prostitution. The woman was identified as 40-year-old Karla Hessler of Ledbetter, KY.

Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for Hessler’s hotel room. Inside, detectives located small quantities of Cocaine, Marijuana, and Xanax.

Hessler was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
