GRAVES COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — Methamphetamine Arrest
On March 20, 2024 at approximately 11:23 PM, Deputy Tyler Crane conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Mayfield. During the stop, it was determined that Ryan Gibson of Mayfield KY was the operator of the vehicle in question. After some investigation, a vehicle search was conducted.
During the search of the vehicle, Deputy Crane located several folded dollar bills containing methamphetamine, and a straw used for ingesting controlled substances.
Gibson was placed under arrest without incident.
Deputy Crane was assisted by Deputy Austin Ramage.
Ryan Gibson was charged with the following:
-Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine)
-Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
-Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense
Gibson was transported to the Graves County RC center where he will be moved to an out of County facility.
