Cross drain to be replaced
PADUCAH, Ky. (March 25, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 3305 in Lyon County on Monday and Tuesday, April 1 and 2, 2024.
KY 3305 will be closed at mile point 0.5 to allow a cross drain to be replaced. This is along KY 3305 between Elkhorn Tavern Road and Jacks Way and about halfway between KY 93 and the I-24 Tunnel.
The roadway at this site is expected to close promptly at 7:30 a.m., CDT, on Monday, April 1. KY 3305 is expected to reopen around 3:30 p.m., CDT, on Tuesday, April 2.
There will be no marked detour.
KY 3305 provides a connection between KY 93 South and the traffic signal at the U.S. 62/U.S. 641 intersection east of Eddyville.
This cross drain replacement project is being scheduled during Spring Break to avoid disrupting school bus traffic.
