CALLOWAY COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — Deputies took Derek A. Brashears into custody at his home after a Calloway County arrest warrant had been issued the previous day.
The victim of the previous day’s incident stated that Brashears, whom she knew, had entered her home without permission in the night.
She woke, they went outside, and a verbal argument ensued. He then broke her cell phone and left prior to the deputies’ arrival.
Attempts were made to contact Brashears but were unsuccessful, so a warrant was issued. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.
