Wednesday, at 7:01 AM the Concord Fire Department and The West McCracken County Fire Department were dispatched to a Confirmed 2 story Residential Structure Fire in the 9500 Block of Blandville Rd.

CFD arrived on scene and made a quick-fire attack on the room with active fire showing from the window.

Following fire attack of the room CFD sent a 3 man Engine crew inside the second story window to start an operation called “VEIS” or “Vent Enter Isolate Search”. CFD conducted a primary search of any victims on the second story while WMFD started the same operation on Story 1 and checked for fire extension to any other room following the search.

CFD operated on scene for 2 hours before going back in service. Thankfully No lives were lost and no injuries were reported from this incident. All assisting agencies are listed below.
