Franklin County, Illinois (NewsFirst) — Methamphetamine Arrest:

On today’s date on approximately 1:34 am Deputies conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 149 near the intersection of Interstate 57 in West Frankfort. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Diego D. Nevith (49) of Herrin. It was soon determined that the driving privileges of Nevith were suspended. As a result, he was placed under arrest. During the search of the vehicle, incident to arrest, Deputies located Methamphetamine and other drug related paraphernalia.

Nevith was transported to the Franklin County Jail and turned over to Correctional Officers for processing. Nevith is charged with driving while license suspended, failure to signal when required, unlawful possession of methamphetamine (Class 2 Felony) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Diego Nevith is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
