Work at various locations through the week
PADUCAH, Ky. (March 28, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans daytime work zone lane restrictions along Interstate 24 in Trigg County for various maintenance activities the week of April 1, 2024.
Motorists should be alert for intermittent zone lane restrictions at the following locations:
Monday, April 1
I-24 eastbound from the 66.5mm to the 67.5mm for shoulder work – All traffic moved to the left-hand or passing lane
Tuesday & Wednesday, April 2 & 3
I-24 eastbound from 68mm to 69mm for shoulder work- All traffic moved to the left-hand or passing lane
Wednesday-Friday, April 3, 4, & 5
Mobile operations for pothole patching from 58 to 70mm both directions
These work zones will be active from 6:30 a.m., to about 3 p.m., CDT, each day.
Motorists should be alert for trucks hauling materials into and out of the work zone. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
