Work to take about a week to complete
PADUCAH, Ky. (March 27, 2024) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans milling and paving along a section of KY 731/Lone Oak Road in Paducah starting Monday, April 1, 2024,
This milling and paving project runs along KY 731/Lone Oak Road between U.S. 45/Jackson Street and Broadway in front of Paducah Middle School.
The contractor anticipates about two days of milling followed by about two days of paving.
This work is being scheduled during spring break to avoid disrupting school traffic.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
The project is expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting.
