UNION COUNTY, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) — On March 28th 2024 Deputy Whitfield conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car on Ky 109 near Sturgis Ky for suspicion of an impaired driver.

Deputy Whitfield was assisted by Deputies Owens and Carver. In the course of conducting the traffic stop probable cause was obtained to search the vehicle. In doing so Deputies discovered two loaded handguns concealed within close proximity of the passenger Reilly B. Andrews (22) of Marion KY.

A search of Andrew’s person revealed methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. In a backpack Deputies discovered Marijuana, Methamphetamine, LSD as well as Percocet, Ecstasy and Lortab pills.

In the back seat Deputies discovered more Marijuana, THC vapes and digital scales.

Reilly B. Andrews was arrested and charged with numerous drug offenses to Include several counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st Degree. All charges were firearm enhanced. Andrews was transported by the Union County Jail to the Webster County Jail where he is currently lodged.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
