** Recent Arrests / Charges**

– On 03/14/24, Jayson Cadieux, 49, of Benton, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of substance 1st offense, and wanton endangerment 2nd degree.

– On 03/19/24, officers responded to a single vehicle collision with injuries on Main Street near Church Grove Road. The collision involved two adult passengers and two small children. As a result of the collision investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Patricia A. Beal, 26, of Benton, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol 1st offense (aggravated circumstance), and 2 counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree. Subsequently, on 03/20/24, passenger in the vehicle, Terry Miller, 42, of Benton, was arrested for a warrant related to the collision. Miller was also charged with 2 counts of wanton endangerment 1st degree.

– On 03/20/24, Jeffrey T. Clark, 59, of Benton, was arrested for criminal trespassing 3rd degree.

– On 03/25/24, Kelly R. Allen, 34, of Benton, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense, and driving on a dui suspended license 1st offense.

– On 03/30/24, Paul S. Kissiar, 37 of Benton, was arrested for three active warrants out of Marshall County, all of which were for “failure to appear.” Officers located Kissiar in a wooded area, and he was non compliant with commands and then fled on foot. Kissiar was quickly apprehended and charged with the additional charges of menacing, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st or 2nd offense, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree (on foot), and resisting arrest.
