PADUCAH, KENTUCKY (NewsFirst) —
On Friday afternoon the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Paducah men on drug charges during a drug investigation at a local apartment complex in Paducah.
On 03/29/2024 drug detectives with the Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation that involved making Crack Cocaine and Fentanyl pill purchases from 44-year-old Sean Irons of Paducah. Irons directed detectives to an apartment complex located in the 800 block of North 8th Street in Paducah. Upon arrival at the apartment complex, Irons sold quantities of both Cocaine and Fentanyl.
Detectives conducted surveillance in the area and observed Irons meeting with several other individuals also believed to be involved in illegal drug activities. A traffic stop was conducted on one of the vehicles that Irons had met with. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 32-year-old Joshua Teague. During the roadside investigation detectives located numerous bags of Marijuana in the vehicle with money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. Detectives also located a digital scale concealed on Teague’s person. Teague was arrested.
Detectives observed Irons get in a vehicle with 43-year-old David Robinson Jr and leave the area. Deputies conducted a stop of the vehicle on North 6th Street in Paducah. Both Robinson Jr. and Irons were arrested during the traffic stop. During the stop detectives located Cocaine on the person of David Robinson Jr. and Marijuana on the person of Sean Irons. During a subsequent search of the vehicle detectives located approximately 139 grams of Powder and Crack Cocaine, synthetic Marijuana, doses of Oxycodone, several sets of digital scales, and other items of drug paraphernalia. Detectives also seized $2,645 in cash from the men believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.
Both Irons and Robinson Jr. have extensive criminal histories. Both men were out on bond at the time of their new arrests on drug charges from where they were both previously arrested by the Sheriff’s Office; Irons in April of 2023 and Robinson Jr. in June of 2023.
All three men were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Arrested: Sean L. Irons 44, of Olivet Church Rd (Paducah)
Charges: Trafficking in Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense (three counts), Trafficking in Fentanyl 2nd Offense, trafficking in Synthetic drugs, trafficking in opiates, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of Marijuana
Arrested: David Robinson Jr. 43 of North 10th St (Paducah)
Charges: Trafficking in Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense, trafficking in Synthetic drugs, trafficking in opiates, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of Marijuana
Arrested: Justin Teague 32, of Highland Blvd. (Paducah)
Charges: Trafficking in Marijuana less than eight ounces 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia
