Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department (NewsFirst) — On Wednesday April 3rd, 2024, The Muhlenberg County Sheriff Office was requested by The Kentucky Fire Marshal’s Office to conduct an investigation of a suspected arson, in the Bremen area. Bremen Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire that occurred on the night of April 2, 2024, resulting in a camper and garage being burned.
An investigation by Detective Keith Whitehouse has led to the arrest of 41-year-old Steven Minor from Beech Creek.
Minor was arrested and charged with Arson 2nd Degree, a class B Felony. Detective Whitehouse was assisted by Sheriff Will Ward and Deputy Jamie Sparks, along with Kentucky Fire Marshal’s Office and the Bremen Volunteer Fire Department.
