McCracken County, Kentucky (NewsFirst) — Deputies of the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office investigated a collision that resulted in criminal charges for a Missouri man.

On April 7, 2024, Deputies responded to the area of Blandville and Childress Rd for a single-vehicle collision with injuries. The investigation showed a 2013 Red Ford Pickup driven by a man from Missouri was traveling east on Blandville Rd. The truck failed to maintain the lane of travel and nearly hit an oncoming vehicle before losing control and striking a Canadian National Railway bridge pillar. The operator was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation, it was discovered that the operator was under the influence and taken into custody upon release from the hospital.

Dustin Fisher, 37 years old, of Campbell, Missouri, was charged with: Criminal Mischief 1st, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence.
